Went to renew my EAD at the San Diego office in Chula Vista on Monday and thought I would ask about my case. The officer disappeared for a few minutes and then said that my file was on a shelf marked 'schedule interview for October'. So I reviewed my document lists and noticed the following:
I mistakenly gave the officer my original divorce certificate when I filed last year. I have the copy I was supposed to give her; do you think they will accept that at the interview (perhaps I can swap it for the original) ?
It will have been over a year since my medical. Should I get a new one done - I had to give the officer the results when I filed for AOS (a San Diego office custom) so I am without any documentary evidence to give them. Perhaps they won't even ask but if I only get a couple of days notice of the interview there won't be time to get it done.
Thanks
Paul
ps For the record my USC wife and I filed at the SD office on 8/22/2002, fingerprinting was 10/26/2002.
