Country of eligibility ERROR!? HEEEEELP

Hi,
i was born in Jordan, my family left Jordan when i was 5 years old to live in palestine, i have a palestinian nationality. (i don't have Jordanian nationality).
When i registered for dv lottery, the chargeability country was ISRAEL!

JODRAN, PALESTINE AND ISRAEL ARE IN THE SAME REGION !!!


brief:
Born in Jordan
But live in Palestine
Chargeability country came Israel
 
** Please note that persons born in the areas administered prior to June 1967 by Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Egypt are chargeable, respectively, to Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Egypt. Persons born in the Gaza Strip are chargeable to Egypt; persons born in the West Bank are chargeable to Jordan; persons born in the Golan Heights are chargeable to Syria.

What does that means in my case?

Persons born in Jordan are always chargeable to Jordan so this paragraph means nothing for you.

Clearly you selected the wrong country of chargeability. It is unclear (at least to me) at this point if it is disqualifying or not given the change in the manual but anecdotes of one or two cases still following the principle of not being disqualified if the region is the same.

So i will NOT be disqualified because iam in the same region ?
do they edit the chargeability country in the interview from israel (current chargeability country) to jordan (my birth country) ? knowing that i live in palestine (nationality) ??

I already said I don’t know, because the wording in the manual has changed.
