Could not comprehend status msg

My recent status change messages on I-140 & I-485 read "the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued".

I searched the group(s) but could not find any answer. Can anybody help?

That means you got approved and they sent you the approval notice. So most probably they approved your 140.

Thanks for giving me an amazing hope. But is it that fast ? I got the same messages on all I485 of amy family with different LUDs
 
That Message

That message does not mean that you have been approved. It means that a document has been mailed.

According to an officer I spoke with, It is most likely generated when

1. You inquire about a document that you never received.

2. A document was mailed and returned to CIS. They try once again.

3. You make an inquiry that requires a written response.

My friend had same message, it happens to be when his FP was received he got that message. One other friend got that message and it turns out to to be they have issued FP. If you have not given FP may be they might have issued FP
 
Thanks. I too thought they are for FP notices because we do not have any inquiries. As suggested by 'notdeadyet', it may be due to the following reason

But I am having the same message on I-140 too and hope that it is approved as suggested by 'IndoKiddo'

I will update this thread if something happens.

Could also be an RFE

If this is for 140, it could also be an RFE on your case. For the 485's most likely and FP.
 
LUD changes and status messages are due to an error in mailing address. BCIS is trying to re-send copy of Receipt Notice which was returned back.

recd same msg

Dont mean to disappoint you, but we recd the same msgs on both our I 485.For myself and my spouse in Dec. We called the 1800 no and they said looks like an approval.We even went to the office here with all our particulars and passport,saying we didnt receive any letter but this is wat we were told when we called the no.But they said no must be just an acknowledgement of FP or some receipt.
So till date we didnt receive anything.Dont know wat the msg actually meant.

my friend got the same msg after he has received an email of approval. I did not get this msg but I only got the email approval. We called our lawyer and he has the approval notice of our 140.
