Could I Leave After Rec Gc ?

Anyone who can answer the following questions:

PWage when does that Starts? After I rec the GC? How long do I need to stay with CO that sponser me?

What will happen if he is paying me less than the amt that was entered on LC appt ? Does INS or DOL monitor this ?

I need to know the above answers ASAP anyone .

No "set" amount of time to stay after you receive GC. Suggestion is 6 months at least. This is a question of legitimacy of your GC. Your GC was applied for a permanent position. Of course nothing is every permanent so you just need to have a good story as to why you changed after you received your GC. You need to be able to prove that it was not a fraudelent GC.

INS / DOL audit employers. So NO, they don't check EVERY employer to make sure they are being compliant.

Attorney Murthy : Generally, it should not matter, since AC21 of Oct. 2000 only requires that the same or similar job pay at least above poverty guidelines, without regard to the amounts mentioned on the LC or I-140. This is confirmed by INS in the June 2001 Interim INS Guidance Memo written in detail in June 2001 in our MurthyBulletin available at MurthyDotCom.
 
Just watching

Could copy and paste the last part that PWage is ok if not paid as per what was mentioned on LC or I-140 , I would really appreaciate that .
