My relative won a DV. Am I eligible to be her primary or co-sponsor? I am an asylee since 1999 waiting to be permanent resident in a year or so. I have professional and a well-paying job with government.
I don't see why you couldn't be. Look carefully on what are the requirement to be a sponsor on the letter. If you satisfy all the criteria, I would believe it's ok. But you may want to call a lawyer on this one.
