Cost of H1?

How much is the total cost/legal advise to apply for an H1B? Also, can some one recommend any good lawyer that I can contact? Thanks a lot!
 
which state/city are you in ?

It usually costs $1100 on application fee. Plus about $2.5 to $3.5 legal fees...total could be around 4 to 5K.
 
Man, I need to increase my fees!

Total is normally around 2K (including $1,130 filing fee) unless you want Premium Processing.
 
These are SF Bay area/Silicon valley fees!

I know for a fact about two lawyers who charge a flat $5K for H1 and a 3K(LC clearing)-3K(I-140Clearing)-4K(485 approval) = 10K for green card processing. I have seen my company send checks to those lawyer thru me.
 
I don't doubt it. In most business immigration cases there is absolutely no requirement for the attorney to be local. I don't see why there would be a much higher price in Silicon Valley but if there is, there is.

I need to raise my fees:D
 
Hey Jim,

My client is govt. agency and thinking to hire me on perm. position. I heard there is no fees for govt. agencies. Is that true? How much would you charge as legal fees?
