Hello friends ,I am in a bit of as bind. I am trying to get a change of Status from H4 to j-1 .I am living in California and will be joining a program in New York. My spouse who is on an H1 will remain here in Cali. for the time being.ALL my records with ECFMG ,INS etc bear my current address i.e. California
My questions are :
1) Can I apply for my COS from an East coast address ...to the Vermont center .....as it is much faster in processing? Will it affect the outcome of my Application adversely if I did that?
2) What are the docs I need to send in for my COS in addition to the following:
___I-539, DS-2019, Copy of PP, I-797 approvals for spouse, Fees of 195 USD.
