I wanted to get your input regarding my F1 visa stamping. I initially started my master’s program in April 2024 on an L2 visa and later changed my status to F1 while in the U.S. Now, I am planning to visit India in March for visa stamping. I have been eligible for the Dropbox process, but I understand that there is still a possibility of being called for an interview.
Since I have about a year left until graduation, I am wondering if this would be a good time to get my visa stamped. I have concerns that if I wait until the end of my program, the consulate might question my intent to return, which could impact my visa approval.
Given the current visa processing trends and policies, would you recommend that I proceed with my travel plans now, or would it be better to wait? I would really appreciate your insights on this.
