Correspondece from DHS for AC21

I got this letter from DHS:

This acknowledges your corrspondence received by this office on 10/10/06 regarding your 485 application.

Service records indicate your case has been reviewed by an officer. However, your case remains pending due to the unavailability of a visa at this time.

We are sorry for any incovenience this may cause

Case status inquiry can be obtained.. the usual stuff

I sent the AC21 early sept and the date above says 10 Oct. I have never heard of DHS sending acknowledgement for receving AC21. I just want to ask this forum to see if anyone has received a similar notification and be sure it is for the AC21 I sent and not anything else!

Thanks for sharing this information. It is really useful to the people on the same boat like me. I have replied to NOID one year back till I did't receive any thing. Can you please answer to below questions.

1. Did your old employer withdraw your I-140?

2. If yes, did he use it for any body else?

3. What is your PD?

Thats great! Looks like you are now totally safe with regards to AC21 (same/similar job, salary etc). All you've to wait is for PD to become current. You are a semi GC holder now

Btw, did u send this corrospondence by yourself or through attorney?

140 was not revoked

My 140 was not revoked. My labor PD was 04/03 - EB3 - affected by retro country.

I sent the AC21 packet myself - just followed the AC21 thread from this forum and followed it completely. I didn't file a G28 coz I have (and hoping to continue) good understanding my ex.company's lawyer.
