Correction on DS form at The time of interview

Guys, there was a minor mistake in work experience section of DS form as the Job start date was actually Jan 2006 but mistakenly it was written Jan 2007. I would like to correct it at the time of interview because I have experience letter with actual date and may needed to show Consular if asked for the same,Thus, what is the procedure to correct the mistakes in form at the time of interview and further, do this effect my chance to get visa??

Contact KCC (if no interview date yet) or your consulate if file has been passed to them. We also had an error on one item which discovered later - they said send them copy so they can correct it - apparently this is why you do do not sign the DS230 until in front of consular officer, so they can check with you that everything is correct first. From the response to our query it sounds like it will not affect your chances, so good luck.
 
I lately discovered the problem on the date found on my high school certificate and filled on DS-122. Actually I have degree with no difference on the date DS form I filled and the degree paper. Should i contact the consulate before the interview ? Any advise. Thanks,
 
I also have a related problem.. please anyone answer,
DS-230 #13 Present address that I filled should be equal to the police report address??
