Hi all,
i am going to get married to a US citizen overseas, here in my Country Jordan, and she will file me the 1-30 from here too so i can obtain a green card.
And since i used to face a problem every time i applied for non immigrant visa, considering my name (as it is a common name), i am thinking to correct my family name, by adding the real one, rather than using my grandfather name!
since i was 2 years old, there was a mistake in printing my birth certificate, by adding my grandfather name as my Family name! ... and now i am 24 years old, do u think its too late for me to correct it! should i leave it as it is!
or would it do any good, to correct it by adding my real family name!
but i am afraid that when they check my last records and my last visas to the united states, they would find i used to have another family name!
I'll appreciate any help.. thanks again!
