Correct me if I am wrong

There are approx. 180 July filers (on this board) of whom say 150 are still waiting.

Out of this 150 we saw apprx. 4-5 approvals this week.

30 / 180 = 16 % apprx.

So can we assume that INS has processed apprx. 16 % July cases in one month. So it would take them 6 months to finish July.

Tell me I am wrong.

you are absolutly wrong. I hope next month they would start to approve August cases.

Intzaar,On what basis are you saying this?

Virtually they(INS) slowed down.Very few approvlas,1 0r 2 a day are coming.
At this rate it may take 4 months to complete July and 2 months to finish Aug cases.
Very Frustrating.

Poor statistics, dude!

Please don\'t create panic here with your poor grasp of the subject. One hundred eighty cases out of x-thousands is too small a sample size to infer any statistical importance out of the proportion of cases adjudicated.

It will be mid-June! Here is how!!

Per Milk\'s data, as of today there were 54 approvals out of 180 active board members. Considering this data as a representative sample for all VSC July approvals, the approval rate per month is 30%. So, it will take 3 1/3 months to finish all July. The approvals started coming in early March. That means it will be mid-June (March, April, May, Mid-June = 3 1/3 months) before all July processing is finished.

Keep up hopes all July filers! Good luck!!

Thanks.

Every thing in life is not linear my friend. Based on your linear calculations here are some interesting facts that should have happen

If you are 30 years old now, you should have grown up to 240 inches since on average a child grows about 8” during his/her first year. 240 inches means 20 feet.

With your linear assumptions your weight should have doubled 30 times because on average during first year child’s weight gets double. 30 fold of 6 pound would be 6,442,450,944 which is approximately 3.2 million tons. With this enormous weight of 6 billion people, earth could have changed it orbit; probably gotten farther from sun.

Back to your assumption, if you talk ‘all’of july cases, it may take more than 6 month to get all of them approved. Because all the cases are not the same and some of them are complicated and may get delayed because of RFEs. Well if you are thinking of simple common cases, I think most of them will be approved by the end of April.

Best of luck. Wish you all get approvals soon.
