Copy vs original of 824 receipt for Delhi AC140

Delhi CPers,

    My lawyer has sent a copy of the 824 receipt instead of the original for AC140 package. Is this going to be a problem and should I send in the original now. Please advise.

I am AC-140 case but I did not go thru 824 ..I directly filled for AC-140 at Delhi consulate and they accepted it

I called up Delhi consulate and your information about the copy being sufficient is correct.

But I did not file for 824 but directly sent the I140/packet 3 /AC140 application to delhi after getting the I140 approval.

Once the application reached Delhi ..I gave them a call after a week or so to see if the application was enetered in the system. It was there and was told a probable Dec 2001 date .
