 you said you presented I797 at the POE and came back to US.
Did you mean to say that was H1b approval notice ? Did you have valid h1 visa visa stamp in your passport ? Did you show AP and I797 ? Please clarify above.

I797 is H1B approval notice

I had H1B stamped on my passport. I did not apply for AP. I did not carry my 485 receipt.
