After roughly 12 years, completed Citizenship journey. Please see signature for details. Next in line outside of US immigration journey is getting and OCI. Looking for pointers/checklist for a smooth process for OCI (Have heard lot of pains with people on that). Anyone has a recent experience at San Francisco consulate/travisa, please share.

Couple of specific questions:
1. Will property tax statement serve the need of proof of address, since most of the utility bills are in my name and property tax is the only thing that as both (wife and I) of our names and wanting to make sure that will be an acceptable proof for her address.
2. If applying for surrender-ship and OCI together, do we need one order form for OCI and one for Renunciation, since the OCI order form doesn't have a category of this combination.
3. Does anyone have an exhaustive checklist for all documents?

1. You could use your driver's license if it has your current home address. Property tax statement is good enough too
2. There is another form for renunciation. If you go to travisa, they have all the instructions
3. Travisa provides list of all required documents. In fact I'm impressed that they have put together a very comprehensive list of instructions. Though it is not perfect(confusion around some areas) and it is much better than what the consulate used to have.

I would recommend you to go to travisa's site and check it out. In fact I'm in the process of applying for OCI @ SFO.
