Converting to H-1B (Please help)

Can a person who is in F2 visa (who used to be F1 and got all his degrees from USA) apply for H-1B if he gets a job in his field?Please help.

Please someone tell me if I can change from F2 to H-1B(if I get a suitable job). I used to be F1 and finished all my studies from here.

Yes

You can be any category and apply COS if you get an employer to sponsor you. That is my understanding, but I am no lawyer.
