Conversion of regular H1B application to premium processing

Is it possible to somehow upgrade a regular H1B application to premium processing? This is the first time an H1B application has been filed in my case and I believe I cannot work until it gets approved by the BCIS. Any suggestions/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it's possible. You need to fill out the necessary forms and pay the fee.

I recently had an H-1B EOS application pending for several months. I needed the approval quickly, so my employer sent in the relevant forms plus $1000 fees - and case was approved within 3 days!

Hi in my case my H1 was pending since one and half year my employer filed another one with premium process got approved with in one week.Funny part is that the first one (regular one ) also got approved after three months.My lawyer sent letter to cancel first one.
