Hi,

I noticed LUDs continuously even after the approval of AP. See below my signature for detail. What is going on? Is there anybody who has this experience? What to make out of these LUDs in AP?

My 485 is at NSC and I-140 under EB-1EA is also pending at NSC.

Your insight will be highly appreciated.

hi madgu-gc2005,
my friend had similar situations. he called USCIS, and one lady said it is due to "internal USCIS processing being performed on your case". I don't know what kind of processing they do with so many LUD's before/after the case being approved. It's very strange! isn't it?? any way we have to bear with this. may be other members will post their experiences. good luck.

Recently my case EB1-EA has been approved from TSC. I have noticed only 1 lud during processing but 5 luds after approval. Don't know the reason.

Thanks gc-ache. By the way when did you file your I-140?

My EB-1EA petition was filed with NSC but fortunately moved to TSC(RD Aug03 2006, AD Oct 12). Never felt it would be a very convincing case but just tried. Background: PhD., R&D scientist in private co. for last 4 years, 10 peer reviewed pub(8 ist auth., 2 2nd auth.) 10 conf. paper, ~100 citations, PI on 2 federal grants, no major awards.

gc-ache,

That's encouraging. However, I think being PI of a federal grant would have been considered very positive by the immigration. How many reference letters did you submit? How many from independent experts?

11 letters total, 2 of them from the people I have worked with and the other 9 from people I haven't worked with and most of them I haven't met. I had requested referees to write the letter and ultimately my att. worked with them to finalise the letters. I am co-inventor in 5 us patents and some of them are being used in the company I work for, not sure how much value that added.

best wishes to those who are waiting.
