Contesting Speeding Tickets and Name Check

I know its off-topic but guys, I need help and guidance from the forum. I got a speeding ticket ( for doing 39 m in a 25 m zone) which will cost me some points. I am thinking of contesting it as the road was confusing and it was a short 24 mile zone in between 2 40 mile zones which I had overlooked.
My question is that, in the event of a contest, there is a municipal court hearing and if this has any impact on my 484 name/background check, although it is not a criminal case? My attorney says it has no bearing on my AOS namecheck but I still wanted to get an opinion from folks here.

Please, lets hear your opinion. Thanks.

I don't know. I guess many people here don't know. We hope not to go to that kind of situation.
If your attorney says no, I guess it's a no.
For more details, you might want to find out what they do on the namecheck. Any uscis website explaining the "namecheck"?

Page 3 of form 485 tacitly indicates that a traffic violation is no big deal; read part 3, question 1b.

Cheers and drive carefully.
