Contesting Speeding Tickets and Name Check

Guys, I need help and guidance from the forum. I got a speeding ticket ( for doing 39 m in a 25 m zone) which will cost me some points. I am thinking of contesting it as the road was confusing and it was a short 24 mile zone in between 2 40 mile zones which I had overlooked.
My question is that, in the event of a contest, there is a municipal court hearing and if this has any impact on my 484 name/background check, although it is not a criminal case? My attorney says it has no bearing on my AOS namecheck but I still wanted to get an opinion from folks here.

Please, lets hear your opinion. Thanks.

Your attorney is correct!

Your attorney is correct! There should be no impact of a speeding ticket on your namecheck or I-485 processing, whether or not you contest it.

Driving under the influence and any subsequent serious accident/injury to another driver etc. "may" have some effect, but you should not worry at all about a speeding ticket.

We all may be a testament to speeding ticket violations at one time or another... :)

Don't worry. You are fine.
