Content of No Objection Letter

Hi there,

I know some of you have received a copy of No Objection Letter from your Embassy, could anyone let me know what kind of information is included in No Objection letter?

I only provided my home country Embassy my previous J-1 program information and the Embassy has sent out the No Objection letter based on my previous J-1 program. Most cases have been issued favorable recommendation the same day as No Objection letters were received. I wonder why DOS hasn't yet issue the favorable recommendation two weeks after the No Objection letter was received. Is there something wrong with the No Objection letter?

Each country has it's own format for No Objection letter. Following is the content of No objection certificate issued from Indian Embassy/consulate:
"The Government of India has no objection to the immigration authorities of the Goverment of USA waiving the 2yr residence requirement of stay in India on completion of his/her training/studies in the USA in case of exchanged program.
Student: --name--
holder of Indian passport No. xxxxxxx issued at xxxxx on xxxxx.
