Contemplating a new JOB while Spouse 485 pending -

Foremost I would like to thank all the people on this forum for providing support and advice needed in this long time consuming process.

Finally my I-485 has been approved. The 485 application of my spouse is still pending.

My Details:
PD Nov 2003, EB2 India
Labor Approved : Apr'06
I-140 Approved : Aug'06
I-485 RD : 14-JUL-07
FP : 02-AUG-07
EAD recived : 15-Aug-07 (happy independence)
I-485 Approved email 9(TSC): 3rd -DEC -07


The question I have is Can I change my job while my spouse is awaiting her EAD approval ??

I work for one of the big five consulting companies(bearing point) and due to the nature of the job, I need to travel week in and week out. I have recieved a very good permanent offer in the area I live and I don't have to travel any more. It has the same job description as I do now. One of the reasons I want to take this job is it doesn't involve travel anymore.

I have conveyed the new company that I can't transition till 15-Mar'08.

Can I take this job offer?

Will I be hurting my spouse's chance of getting her 485 approval?
