Contacting TSC for 485 status

My I-485 was filed concurrently with my I-140 on March 09, 2007. TSC currently states that it is processing application filed in May 2007.

I have tried to contact TSC on many occasions using the POJ method....but I always seem to reach some lowly customer service person who is as clueless as I am.

I opened an enquiry, 50 days have elapsed nothing has happened. Not even a LUD.

I have read on this forum and the trackitt forum, that many members have called TSC and found their NC/BC status etc. how are they able to reach an IO?

Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.

I suppose you could call the TSC by using the POJ method and ask her/him specifically what the status of your name check since you've done the finger print long time ago? My impression is that I-485 can only be processed after your name check is completed from FBI. Many I-485s got stuck on the name check (NC).
