Contacting the Senator

Guys,

What is the procedure to contact the local senator to get his/her office to contact INS to inquire about our application.

I am located in Cincinnati,OH and would like to know how I could know which senator to contact and also would appreciate any experiences and/or suggestions specifically from Cinci area or else where.
