Please advice!!! My husbands' company started (or looks like it) employer based GC for him. The lawyer that they picked to do the process informed us that because during the labor certification process the company and not we is the client, he (the lawyer) is not to talk to us and we are not to contact him. He would inform us in the case there is something to tell. I am just wondering is this a regular practice? How long should I wait to hear something from the lawyer? Is there any way we can at least check where is he in the process?
