It is very simple, pl look in to Phone book of your Local Congress man or Senators, each state will have 2 senators, and 6 congressman, both are very powerful, and they have offices in their respective states and at Washington DC, all U have to make an appointment with their office secretaries, they are very nice and will ask U, the purpose of your problem, U can tell them regarding INS, they will ask U to come to their office to sign a form, which will enable to them to speak or write to INS, and U have to give them your I 485 copies, and tell them your INS Service center are taking their own sweet time, and they are not processing the cases in order they receive.
The senators office will certainly speak to INS, on your behalf.
