My attorney says that I have an option to get the case inquiry done on my case (My 485 is pending since Dec'03) through the local senator or congresssman, however if I choose to go through them, Attorney's office will come out of the loop. They will never be able to do any inquires or followups on my case. Is there a rule like that?
I wonder if BCIS will know if two different entities are inquiring about the same case. If they were so organized they would have completed my name check in last 1.5 years.
Its so damn frustrating.. Any body got similar feedback from their attorney?

3 inquiries done by Attorney resulting in additional check/background check etc etc..responses
2 Phone calls to BCIS resulting in nothing usefull other than telling that its the background check/name check pending.
FBI email sent 1st week of June05 no response received
