Contacting Senator/Congressman helped !!!

Would love to hear how USCIS has reacted in the recent past to inquiries from Senator / Congressmans office. I heard that there were cases of transfers to local offices and some were rejected...Is this true ?

I heard a few instances, it seems they are getting pissed with numerous congressional inquiries. Unless the reps or senators donot have strong contacts with USCIS office (director would be best !!!!), standard inquiries will do more harm then good.
How abt helping congressman in raising funds, atleast they would take some personal attention. :p
