Contacting congressman or senator

Has anyone tried contacting the senator/congressperson in Atlanta? I tried contacting Johnny Isakson and that office is not that cooperative. They replied that unless my case is very urgent, they can't do anything. Do you have any good ones here?

What will they help with - will they make an enquiry for you?
 
Last year I contacted Max Cleland and Zell Miller.
Zell Miller's office was very nice. They could only help if there is delay or mistake from INS. They do not expedite any case.

I now live in Denver, Senator Allard's office is wonderfull. again they only help out if there is a mistake. Their office help me to get my EAD extension in Denver.
 
Thank you all for the reply. Let me try to contact them and see if they can help. I will definitely post my experience.
