My I485 RD is Aug. 30, 2002.
I replied RFE on June 21, 2004
2nd FP Dec. 17th, 2004
I sent a letter to local senator a week ago.
Today, I received a call from the senator office. They told me it would take four weeks for INS to response the inquiry.
My case is a little complicated.
I was laid off on Oct. 15th, 2002.
I found new job Dec. 2002.
Got my I140 approved in June 2003.
File AC21 to reply for the RFE in June 2004.
Gor new I140 approved with my new employer on June 21, 2004.
Send a letter to INS ask them to substitute my old I140 with my new I140 for my I485 case.
Heard nothing from them since then.
what is the chance I will be approved?
I may apply new I485 if I can not get approved in March. Because I need AP to travel and if I apply AP based on old I485, once the old I485 is denied, I will lose status.
Anyway, please share your opinion.
Thanks.
