Hi All:
I just sent a letter (through their FEEDBACK OPTION) to ACLU explaining how the USCIS backlog (more like inefficiency) is causing severe financial, emotional, and professional distress. I explained that many are waiting to hear about their cases for more than 24 months, and that doesn't even include the times spent getting labour certification or I-40 approval. I also told them that ILLEGAL ALIENS have more rights, it appears, than LEGAL ALIENS--and that we pay taxes, contribute to the economy, and that we WORK for the better of this country.
Either way, I urge ALL Of you on this forum to write to ACLU. Give them as much information as you lihttp://boards.immigrationportal.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
Smileke or want to. We just need to start getting people interested in our plight.
I am also thinking of writing to John McCain, Arnold S (who is an immigrant, remember?) and John Kerry (his immigration ideas are less draconian).
