Consulate Processing in Spouses home country (UK London)

Hi All,
I need to decide if I can go for CP or AOS. My attoney says that I can go to London as my spouse is a citizen of UK (born in India). I am a citizen of India and my home consulate would be Chennai. I also would like to know if London accepts attourney attested Consulate Processing. My wife is here in USA as a dependent (H4).
Do any of you have any experiences. Also do you have any time frames for the interview in London. Any additional information is welcome.
