Is the amount mentioned in the Chennai consulate web site for CP fees consistent for a period of time or does it keep chaging based on exchange rate change?? Also, do they accept cash, either rupees or dollars??

Also, whats the amount required for Blue Dart for just one person, is it Rs. 300?? Does that have to be in the form of check too or can it be cash..

I think it is 250 + n*50 where n is no. of persons
So yes for one person it should be Rs.300 payable to ‘Blue Dart Express Ltd.’ in Chennai.
 
Thanks san777 for the info on Blue Dart, someone please clarify the immigration fees part, if it can be paid in cash (Rs or $) and also if the amount mentioned in the consulate web site is consistent.

You have to take DD\'s for the amount mentioned for all the fees you have to pay in the consulate. The consulate will update the website once a month if there are any changed in the conversion rate. Otherwise whatever conversion rate is mentioned on the website should be fine. Make sure that you check the website before taking the DD or call the consulate. They have a automated system to tell you the conversion rate.
