Consular Processing urgent Help (BCC)

Folks I need some urgent advice.

My birth certificate is not available at this time. It is not possible for me to get a non-availibility certificate now, since my interview date is 07-20-04.

I have a certificate from the hospital & can get the affidavits from my parents. Is this ok, or getting a non availability cert from corporation s a must?.

Can also someone please provide a format for the affidavit from parents in India?.

Hi Zimby,

You should have anticipated this requirement from before -- it's one of the primary documents for the interview. One option may be to talk with the consulate or send them an email and see what they advice. Sometimes they may allow you to attend the interview and hold back issuance of the IV till you produce the missing documentation.
