Consular Processing or Adjustmant Of status

Hi all,
My company has started GC processing for me. They are preparing an Immigrant Petition on my behalf using an
already approved labor certification and "substituting" me for the original applicant.

How long this substituion process will take? In the current time Which is the best method of processing, Consular porcessing or Adjustment of status. I am from india. So propably if i opt for consular processing i would have to opt for chennai consulate.

Please let me know your experiences and view porint.

CP or I-485

Hi,
I also did some research before applying for I-485. The advantage you get from I-485 is, you can get EAD after 90 days and even change jobs after 180 days.
But if you are very sure about your job stability then it is better to go for CP rather than depending on TSC for I-485 approval,which may take more than 2 years.!!
