Consular Processing- Job scope

Hi everyone,

Based on several posts from successful cper's it seems one of the key question that the consular officer asks is, what your job scope with your current company is - Is the consular officer expecting a very detailed response from the applicants or just a brief job description is OK ??

Normally the question is 'What do you do for your company?'
(I was asked the above question) or to that effect.

He would have a copy of the LC in his file, and would have read
through the job responsibilities as listed there.

What he expects to hear is a brief description of your responsibilities in non-technical terms to start with. He may or may not have secondary questions.

It would help to read through the LC and use the same terms in your answer.
