Consular processing issues - GC

Hi Folks,
My visa interview was on Sept. 09, 2003 at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After the interview they have asked for additional requirement from the petitioner's tax 2000-2002 and accommodation status till pre-NCLEX. Peititoner has provided their tax till July 2002 and they have ask for an extention. These documents have presented to the US embassy waiting for an answer. The officer told they will review and satisfy with these docs they will inform us, but they cant't perdict how much time it will take. Have any of you got the similar experiences?? If so, could you please help me out.

I remember reading an article where there was incomplete documentation @ CP interview and the candidate was requested to furnish more details and in about 2-3 weeks after furnishing details his GC was approved and in another case it was approved on the same day as the day he furnished those new required documents! These were cases in india! I will ty to look for those articles and post the link here if i find one.
