I have a question regarding consular processing. My attorney has sent my I-485 application form along with EAD & AP for me , my wife and kids on August 2nd. We are yet to receive the receipt notice of I-485. I am considering of going for Consular processing and I want to find out answers for the following questions:
1) Can I stop I-485 and go for Consular processing at this point of time ?
2) Can we keep both consular & I-485 going simultaneously ?
If the answer to any of the above is true, what is the procedure and possible complication etc ? FYI: My I-140 was not approved under consular processing. What exactly needs to be done to change it ?
Please share your thoughts and expert advices on this.
