Consular processing for my parents - choose agent

hi there,

I have filed I130 for my parents abroad. it's approved. according to my understanding, the next step is they will get form DS-3032 to designate an agent. Should they designate me as an agent? if so, how do they sign the forms such as DS230 and others that are sent to the agent since they are not in the states now.

They can designate you, themselves or someone else as their agent.

The agent is responsible for sending DS230 etc. to applicants which applicants will fill out, sign. Applicants can send completed forms directly to NVC or to agent who in turn will forward them to NVC.
