AP = Advanced Parole (回美证)
BCIS = Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services
DHS = Department of Homeland Security
DIY = Do It Yourself
DOL = Department of Labor
EB = Employment Based
FP = Finger Printing
INS = Immigration and Naturalization Services (incorporated into DHS in 2003)
LC = Labor Certification
LPR = Lawful Permanent Residency (green card)
ND = Notice Date (date when Services generate notice and assign case number)
NIW = National Interest Waiver
PERM = Program Electronic Review Management (a new LC program, planed in 2000)
PD = Priority Date (date when LC was filed)
RD = Receipt Date (date when Services receive application)
RFE = Request For Evidence
RIR = Reduction in Recruitment (the fast track version of LC process)
