Considering changing from CP to AOS because of how fast the numbers seem to become current

Hi, I am an F1 student, with a high case number AF70***
I applied for CP, since I thought my CN might never become current
However, I have decided no to go back to my country (Cameroon) because in case my interview is not successful, I'll probably not be granted another F1 visa (since i would have shown immigration intent)
Now that the CN seem to unprecedentedly arrive fast, I thought might be my CN would become current in August and I could opt for AOS instead
My questions therefore are :
1-Is it possible to call KCC and tell them I've changed my mind and instead will go for AOS ?
2-In two months can an AOS case be successful before the end of the Fiscal year (in other words, how fast can an AOS processing be ?)
3- If so, what are the procedures that can be done earlier so that when my CN becomes current, I have a least a couple of things already done

Thank you so much in advance

Man, your CN is too high for you to habour any thoughts of changing from CP to AOS. Be reminded that the whole visa process for AOS cannot be completed in just under two months. Stick to your CP if your are sure you meet the requirements of education or work experience. Once you have forwarded your completed forms to KCC, it does not matter whether you do CP or AOS, you still have shown an immigration intent which could jeopardise your chances of being giving another F1 visa.
