I took my mom for medical exam, and due to positive PPD (skin test for TB), they sent her for X-RAY. X-Ray showed some densities, do she was refereed top chest specialist, who cleared her. However, the civil surgeon marked her I-693 with Class B Condition, i.e. Class B, Latent TB Infection in response to Question 2.a on I-693.

Based on Conversation with civil surgeon and looking online, I found that person is inadmissible and may need medical waiver (if eligible), only if applicant has active TB disease, i.e. Class A condition.

However, I just wanted to feel more comfortable, by posting here and see if anyone had same kind of conditions, and was there any problem/issues/RFE’s durion AOS.

Thank you in advance.

2 days ago I received RFE that says that I am under Class B Condition and haven't done the follow-up within 6 months of my arrival...
I am confused as I have never been told I had smth wrong with my health. I don't have a copy of I693. It was done overseas (I came on K1 visa), sealed and sent to the USCIS.
I don't know what to do. How to find out WHAT disease I have? I have one month.

You, sap283, and your mother are at least aware of the problem..:)
