As I said in some of previous messages, I have been trying to get press aware of the lawsuit as well as our (well...sort of, as we do not vote) representatives.

I sent messages to Sen. Feinstein and Boxer, as well as to congressman Richard Pombo (I live in Contra Costa county)

Mr. Pombo replied me saying that he did inquiry BCIS about I485 backlog concern and that he is waiting an answer from BCIS.

While I am not expecting any usefule answer from BCIS, I would like to praise Mr. Pombo for his action and response to my letter.

I invite everybody in this forum to contact his/her representative, hoping that they are responsive as Mr. Pombo.

More buzz...more chances.

There is one thing I don't understand, the illegal worker also don't have vote right. Why all the politics in this country try to make the illegal workers happy and win them over? It seems to me that illegal workers have more right than us legal workers now, and they also have the higher priority on immigration process. What's the heck? People should be punished for obeying the law?

bhai log of illegal workers have voting rights

They have a powerful organized lobby.
We are small in number, not organized well but (hopefully) have money and will and to turn the tables around

And don't forget their family. Usually an illegal immigrant will live with a legal family member and this one can vote!

This has been always true. Sigh.

most of illigal workers are latino, usually, they are relatives of latino-citizens. In 2000 elections latino vote was about 7%, of which Bush got 35% and Gore got 65%. Now, he tries to pull it.

You are right that most of them are actually latinos and mostly are farmers (specially illegal people). He's scoring points with all the farmers and land owners in the mid west & south.
