Congressman help for revoked I-140 and MTR?????

Congressman help for MTR on a denied 485 and revoked 140?????

I was wondering if I can approach my local congressman inorder to follow-up on my MTR and expedite the request without effecting my case. Did anybody end up in doing that. Please share your thoughts asap.
