If nothing but address change triggers an FP notice what would an inquiry by a US senator do?

Lamara lexander has send me a very nice response to my letter submitted by e-mail to his TN office. His letter said he is willing to look into the backlog and requested my data on a US Congressional INS Inquiry form.

Has anybody else had this experience. Would this help anything other than put a drop more pressure on the Texas Service Center.

Michal.

Could you please let us know what is your RD/ND? Are you contacting your senator for FP notice?
My RD/ND is May2002 and no FP notice yet. I was planning on doing the same. Please post your progress. Thanks

---> Maybe he has a form on his website or something.

---> TSC will only be pressurized if your date is lesser than current processing dates. Than a inquiry from a senator can do wonders. In any case, it won't harm your case.

ND 7/2002 NO FP YET

My RD was 6/02, ND 7/02

I am on my second EAD and my second AP.

I am planning to ask senator Lamar Alexander to help with the backlog in general and I am struggling whether to ask him about anything personal, because there are so many of us. If anything I will probably ask him to look into the fingerprints for all 2002 filers.

Thats a noble thought. Not trying to discourage you, but it won't help you too much (if thats what you are looking). But thats a good thing to do.

small drops will help

I am convinced if we all get on a schedule of doing this once every four months it will do something.

The current speed of processing was probably triggered by these kinds of inquiries by people ahead of us. It did not help them very much but it seems to be helping us a lot.

Please consider writting your senator, representative, president's office, vice-president's office every three to four months, there is a lot of us and the voice if everything goes well will be heard.

This morning I heard a progrem on I-485 backlog on NPR on 7AM program. This should be encouraging.

Thanks michal. I am writing to the senator over the weekend too. Too tired of the waiting game now!!
