I have just rcvd a letter from my congressman that my I485 is adjudication ready what does this mean any idea ?

How long did it take to get a response from the congressman? It's been about 20 days since I sent an email to the local congressman.

That means that your name check and everything else is OK. Hopefully it also means that it is with an adjudicator in which case you should receive an approval or RFE in less than a month.

Was your case falling behind the dates published on INS website?

yes i live in colorado springs, my i 140 was approved 5/01
my case in NIW physician so it is little different
