Oh please do not think My Green Card approved but I got my "FOURTH " EAD card approved.
Yes My fourth and looking at the time taken for this I have no reservations in saying that My 5th EAD card will be even faster. and sixth and seventh and ...........
When I applied the application said that it is taking 180 days to process this kind of case. So many 180 days have passed..........
I have taken a full circle in my life with this GC process.........so many years and I am right there where I started from.
I have seen the renewal fees go up all levels every year.
So here I am with all my EAD cards and all My advance paroles and all my notification letters......and still WAITING for that ELUSIVE GC.

But just for information , I applied for renewal at Chicago LOck Box .Notice date was 17th dec ( i think) and I got the cards in the mail on Feb 4th.

Hi AI_aos,
Please contact your local congressman/woman or senator to expedite your case. You certainly have a very legitimate case which really needs to be looked at....
Other more experienced members of this forum may have better suggestions.

Good luck

Solaris ,
Thank you for your advise. I appreciate that.
The trouble is is my case is / was ready to be adjudicated and I was interviewed in OCTOBER 2004 and was told that name check is not cleared.
In the month of December 2005 ,I contacted my Immigration officer and was informed that my case was in additional review and now the dates retrogress.
I cannot do anything till the time My dates become current.
BTW addtional review was started in late 2005 after my name check clearance.
So I dont know what the problem is now.
Frankly I dodnt even think about it anymore .It is just that MY EAD came through hence i thought I will inform all about the time line and how much time it is raking these days

Here is some food for thought.Have you given a thought to "Writ of mandamus"??.If I were you, I would definitely consider this option.

I am with you

Don't worry, Al_aos. You got many companies. I am preparing my 3rd EAD and AP and I bet I'll need the forth one, becuase I am now not only name-check pending, but also in the GC visa retrogression.

I was wondering if those fees are tax deductible. The same dollar shouldn't be ripped-off twice by the US government. Did the USCIS give a report about their revenue generated from various application fees? This must be a very profitable business.
