It was heartening to watch Byrd's amendment being defeated overwhelmingly 85 to 14.
Hope the provisions will be approved in a similar way in the Conference committee between Senate and House.

The job is not done yet, we need to start contacting Congress members askign them for their support. Meanwhile we also need to thank our senators for defeating the amendment..

The House is more interested in deficit reduction issue. The fees this bill will raise will substantially contribute to their move. Let's focus on that issue to persuade the "local" representatives. Unlike Senators, the House representatives represent small community and focus on narrow issues. Let's keep working until the President signs it!
