Confusion-I-485 process & 60000 Approvals ?

Folks,
Need some expert opinion on whats going on at USCIS for I-485 processing.
I applied for I-485 in the month of June.When USCIS says they have made available 60000 EB visas.Should I assume my case was also counted in the 60000.Does this mean ,assuming I dont have a problem with FBI name check..should expect my GC soon like in few months?
Can someone elaborate on how the 485 processing works?Are the 60000 cases USCIS is talking about much older cases than mine?
 
There are more than 60000 cases older than 6 months. If you are lucky enough and USCIS IOs are lazy to full the old cases, then you will get approved. Anyhow nothing wrong hoping for approval.
