confusion about H4 and AP -- Please clarify

I got EAD for my wife begining of this year, she worked on the EAD for 5 months, does this mean her Multiple H4 which is valid until jun of 2002 is no more valid.

I saw mixed reponse on the page. some say Multiple H4 is invalid once you use EAD, some people say you can use your multiple H4.

what is right ?

Her H4 is invalid. She will need AP if she wants to leave and re enter the US.

I think once you use your EAD to work, your H4 would become obsolete. You might need to use AP to re-enter US
